International Simcard - Usage Instruction
Usage Instruction
- Turn off phone, insert sim. Remove any other sims.
- Turn on phone, turn on Data Roaming and Mobile Data
- Sim will auto set APN to mobile.lte.three.com.hk (Please double check this if cannot get online, see Troubleshooting Guide below.)
- Network will SMS you to confirm activation
- May take up to 2 hours during peak season
- Restart phone if it cannot be activated initially
- Network will SMS when 50%, 70% or 100% of high speed data usage is reached
- Refer to Troubleshooting Guide and Manual Network Connection section below if there is connection issue.

Troubleshooting Guide
- Check that APN is correctly set to mobile.lte.three.co.uk
- Android: Open Settings > Connections / Network and Internet > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > 3 > mobile.lte.three.com.hk
- iPhone: Open Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Network > Mobile Data > APN is set to mobile.lte.three.com.hk
- Ensure Data Roaming and Mobile Data turned on
- Remove the sim, then restart the phone. After restart, insert the sim
- Try the sim in another phone
- Reset network settings:
- Android: Open Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings
- iPhone: Open Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
- Connect to a network manually, see below
Manual Network Connection
Please manually connect to the following networks if it is not done by the sim or phone automatically.
- Android: Open Settings > Mobile networks > Network operators > Select manually
- iPhone: Open Settings > Carrier > Turn off Automatic > Select a network manually
